Description
Assystem is hiring a Process Engineer to support the design and analysis of thermal and fluid systems for a new-build SMR project. The role involves cooling-water-island analysis, static and transient flow and thermal analyses, system design and integration, control strategies, component sizing, thermal-hydraulic modeling, equipment specifications, and documentation. Candidates need a Process or Chemical Engineering degree, knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics, experience producing design documentation and test specifications, and proficiency with PIPESIM, Flomaster, or other 1D CFD software. The position requires UK security clearance and offers a hybrid arrangement of 1–2 remote days per week.
