Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking an optical process engineer to establish and maintain statistical process control, yield and scrap-cost tracking, develop yield improvements, troubleshoot procedures, document process improvements, and conduct timely failure-mode analysis. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in optical, electrical, automation, or a related field; at least five years of experience with optical components or modules; strong product failure-analysis and data-analysis skills; the ability to interpret mechanical drawings and design basic jigs and fixtures; effective English communication; and the ability to train technicians.
