Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking an optical process or manufacturing engineer to establish and maintain statistical process control, yield and scrap-cost tracking, improve production processes, troubleshoot procedures, document improvements, conduct failure-mode analysis, analyze product and process data, understand mechanical drawings, design basic jigs and fixtures, and train technicians. The role requires a bachelor's degree or higher in optical, electrical, automation, or a related field, at least five years of experience with optical components or modules, strong communication skills, and excellent written and spoken English.
