Description
The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining statistical process control, yield and scrap-cost tracking, implementing yield improvements, troubleshooting procedures, documenting improved processes, conducting failure-mode analysis, analyzing product data, understanding mechanical drawings and jig/fixtures design, and training technicians. It requires a bachelor's degree or higher in optical, electrical, automation, or a related subject, at least five years of experience with optical components or modules, strong communication and English skills, and proficiency in failure analysis and data analysis.
