Doncasters is hiring a Process Engineer for its Foundry at Chard Precision Casting in Somerset. The role focuses on optimizing and controlling manufacturing processes, improving plant equipment and manufacturing processes, reducing scrap and waste, resolving conflicts, and supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Candidates need an HND/HNC or bachelor qualification in material science, mechanical engineering, or foundry technology, plus previous process-engineering experience in casting or injection moulding, along with knowledge of 8D, FMEA, OEE, Lean Manufacturing, CP, and CPK.
