Description
The Process Engineer develops and implements manufacturing processes and product methods, supports production operations, troubleshoots fixturing, clamping, program, parameter, and tooling issues, and improves yields and scrap. The role also performs time studies, standard work, process planning, NPI, cost estimating, data analysis, APQP risk reduction, continuous improvement, equipment procurement research, and technical liaison work with customers, suppliers, and other Howmet plants. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least two years of engineering or operations experience in a manufacturing environment are required.
