Description
IPG is hiring a Process Engineer in its Engineering department to lead projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance. The role involves developing production methods and controls, troubleshooting manufacturing processes, evaluating equipment, supporting continuous improvement and environmental compliance, documenting procedures, and coaching operating personnel. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, 3–5+ years of manufacturing engineering or related experience, troubleshooting and data-analysis skills, knowledge of plastics chemistry and extrusion, and familiarity with advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, IIOT, advanced process control, the Toyota Production System, Six Sigma, or sustainable practices.
