Description
The Sawmill Continuous Improvement Manager leads and coordinates continuous-improvement initiatives across a sawmill, developing and refining operational standards, systems, equipment, and processes. The role applies Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies; supports 5S, failure analysis, results management, safety, and CAPEX projects; coaches employees; and coordinates with plant, maintenance, and production management. A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred, along with 3–5 years of industrial or manufacturing experience, wood-products manufacturing knowledge, and Lean Yellow or Black Belt experience.
