Description
Actus Nutrition is hiring a Process Engineer to identify, design, and implement improvements to equipment and processes supporting specialty protein manufacturing and commercialization. The role partners with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Engineering to optimize process efficiency, product quality, regulatory compliance, yield, waste reduction, chemical usage, CIP, and throughput. Responsibilities include planning production projects, analyzing process data, troubleshooting variability, developing SOPs, reporting performance metrics, and supporting R&D projects. The position requires a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, dairy processing, or a related field, at least three years of dairy or food processing experience, and knowledge of whey protein manufacturing, regulatory compliance, quality controls, AutoCAD, and P&ID. The salary range is $90,000 to $120,000 USD based on experience.
