Description
MP Materials is hiring Process Engineers at levels I, II, and Senior for its Process Technology and Engineering Department. The role supports the design, implementation, startup, and optimization of new and existing unit operations; monitors process and equipment controls; investigates process upsets; develops preliminary capital project scopes; and improves process safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability. Responsibilities include creating SOPs, PFDs, P&IDs, control procedures, training operators, tracking KPIs, managing change, and collaborating with plant and project teams. A bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and a valid driver’s license are required, with experience requirements of 0–3 years for Level I, 3–6 years for Level II, and 6+ years for Senior. The work may be performed in an open-pit mine or manufacturing/chemical plant setting and may require travel of less than 10%.
