Description
The employer is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to own and continuously improve aerospace electroplating and metal-finishing processes, including hard chrome, cadmium, electroless nickel, masking, chemical conversion, passivation, etching, cleaning, activation, stripping, baking, and surface preparation. The role develops process plans, technique sheets, work instructions, tooling, and controlled manufacturing documentation; translates aerospace drawings and specifications into production requirements; controls bath chemistry and electrochemical parameters; leads root-cause investigations; supports Nadcap audits and AS9100 implementation; and trains technical staff. The position requires at least five years of direct plating process engineering, technical process ownership, or advanced manufacturing experience involving aerospace electroplating or chemical processing, US citizenship or permanent resident status, and full-time on-site work in Sun Valley, California.
