Description
The Aerospace Special-Process Engineer will own and improve hard chrome, cadmium, electroless nickel, masking, chemical conversion, passivation, etching, cleaning, activation, stripping, baking, and surface-preparation processes for aerospace products. The role develops process documentation, plating methods, tooling, equipment, and controlled manufacturing instructions; controls bath chemistry and other process parameters; performs root-cause and capability analysis; supports NADCAP and AS9100 compliance; leads new-product introduction and first-article reviews; and trains production personnel. The position requires a relevant engineering degree, at least five years of process or manufacturing engineering experience, hands-on plating knowledge, and the ability to work on the production floor.
