Description
The Manufacturing Engineer supervises manufacturing technicians and provides engineering and technical support for manufacturing systems. Responsibilities include coordinating technical staff, maintaining engineering records, directing meetings, supporting mold and material development, introducing new parts and processes, troubleshooting injection molding, developing process parameters, coordinating sample schedules, resolving material and mold problems, and enforcing safety and work-area standards. The role prefers a bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least three years of experience, rubber molding, adhesive coating, mold tooling, automation, CAD, cost estimating, equipment and tooling knowledge, project management, and lean manufacturing experience, along with strong computer, communication, multitasking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
