Description
The Shields Process Engineer owns the shields manufacturing process and supports stable, safe, capable, and cost-effective production. The role partners with Operations, Quality, Safety, Facilities, and suppliers; leads root-cause analysis and corrective actions; improves yield, throughput, quality, and cost using Lean/Six Sigma and statistical methods; supports new product and equipment industrialization; develops process documentation and metrics; and coaches production teams. It is a 100% onsite, 6+ month contract in Pinellas Park, Florida, with possible extension.
