Description

The Process Engineer will join Woodfibre LNG's operations team, contributing to the construction, commissioning, startup, and ongoing operation of the LNG export facility. This role involves optimizing processes, ensuring safety and reliability, and improving efficiency through various analyses and simulations. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing critical support throughout all stages of the project.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Seven (7) years of proven technical competence in the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably LNG.
Good understanding of and exposure to gas processing, liquefaction and storage and loading of LNG.
Skilled in process simulation and unit performance monitoring.
Proven experience in production and support of an operating process plant with cryogenic units
Competent in HAZOP and other technical safety reviews.
Experience in root cause analysis.
Preferred Qualifications: Communication and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with front line workers through to management level.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Takes ownership of deliverables and demonstrates commitment to delivery of tasks and targets.
Actively supports peers, including members of other departments.
