Description
Stegra is hiring a Process Engineer – Caster to join its Caster team within Steel Operations and develop, optimize, and troubleshoot secondary metallurgy and continuous casting processes. The role covers ladle heating furnaces, RH vacuum degassing, ladle and tundish practices, and the CSP Continuous Slab Caster, with responsibilities including process optimization, quality and productivity improvement, root-cause analysis, standards and SOP development, and cross-functional support during commissioning, ramp-up, and production. The position is based at the company’s Boden site in Northern Sweden and requires a relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience, process engineering experience, and strong metallurgical and analytical skills.
