Description
The Process Engineer will oversee and continuously improve high-pressure die-casting operations, optimize casting parameters and yield, analyze scrap and bottlenecks, document process changes, and serve as a subject-matter expert for furnaces, die-cast machines, die-spray systems, and automation. The role requires 5–10 years of automotive high-pressure die-casting experience, mechanical or industrial engineering education, and knowledge of PLC, robotics, root-cause analysis, statistical methods, and DOE. It includes office and plant-floor work, support for three shifts and weekend production as required, and travel in Ontario and abroad; the company does not sponsor new employment-based visas.
