Description
The Process Engineer I assists Senior or Principal Process Engineers in preparing deliverables for Process Design Packages under licensing contracts. Responsibilities include understanding flow schemes, modeling and simulating process units, developing PFDs, specifying equipment, lines, and instruments, writing process books and operating instructions, and supporting process studies and technical proposals. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical or petroleum engineering, 0–3 years of refining or petrochemical industry experience or knowledge, hydrocarbon processing and unit-operation fundamentals, process simulation tools such as Pro II or ASPEN, and fluid dynamics and reactor chemistry knowledge. The position also includes quality, health and safety, and environmental responsibilities aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
