Description
The Process Engineer supports manufacturing by improving processes, resolving quality, safety, and efficiency issues, and driving continuous improvement. The role partners with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams; supports new model launches; evaluates materials and equipment; develops process documentation; monitors process capability; applies SPC and Lean/CI methods; and trains operators and process technicians in SOPs, problem-solving, 5S, TPM, SMED, and standard work. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with two years of relevant experience, or an associate degree with four years of relevant experience, along with coaching ability, SPC knowledge, communication skills, teamwork, and business software proficiency. Preferred qualifications include automotive manufacturing experience, automation training, Six-Sigma certification, disciplined problem-solving techniques, and CAD/Solidworks. The salary range is $73,668.00 to $88,404.00, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid leave, and education assistance benefits.
