Description
DC Water is hiring a Process Engineer II to provide engineering and process-control support for the Blue Plains Wastewater Treatment Plant. The role evaluates treatment-process performance, develops and implements strategies to meet NPDES permit requirements, troubleshoots digital control systems and equipment, reviews and designs wastewater facility systems, coordinates vendors and contractors, analyzes laboratory and process-efficiency data, prepares technical reports and papers, and may support regulatory compliance programs. The position is in-person, exempt, non-union, and requires a bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering, at least five years of wastewater-treatment experience, a Class IV wastewater operator certification, and a District of Columbia PE license or timely reciprocity eligibility.
