Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Process Engineer for its Selective Removal Product (SRP) productivity team in the Etch Business Unit in Santa Clara, California. The role involves designing and optimizing manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies, collecting and analyzing experimental data, performing hardware characterization, troubleshooting complex process issues, measuring film properties, preparing technical documentation, engaging with customers, coordinating vendors and suppliers, implementing new technologies and instrumentation, and supporting junior colleagues and project teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4–7 years of related experience, with 20% travel and no relocation eligibility.
