Description

Vattenfall Power Solutions is hiring a Process Engineer to work on assignments involving technical investigations, design, and modifications of process and mechanical systems in nuclear and hydropower projects. The role involves developing technical solutions, supporting operations and maintenance, preparing documentation and specifications, coordinating with suppliers, and collaborating with clients and colleagues. The engineer will spend some time on site and may work from home when needed. The position is based in Solna, Uppsala, or Gävle, with travel as part of the role.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: University degree or Master of Science in Engineering in mechanical engineering, energy engineering, energy systems, or process chemistry, or equivalent competence.

Several years of relevant experience in the process industry, energy production, or another comparable technical field.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with turbines, generators, diesel engines, or other rotating or system-related equipment.
Experience with technical investigations or facility modifications.
Experience preparing specifications or technical procurement documentation.
Experience with supplier contacts.
