Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Process Engineer in Hudson, Massachusetts, with hands-on work primarily in MIT’s cleanroom in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The role designs, runs, and analyzes complex semiconductor and display manufacturing experiments; characterizes hardware and film properties; develops technical documentation and process specifications; troubleshoots engineering issues; trains engineers; and collaborates with customers, vendors, and suppliers. Candidates need experience with PVD, CVD, ETCH, or RTP processes and the ability to conduct wafer-level experiments in a complex laboratory environment; CMOS or compound semiconductor device integration experience is preferred.
