Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Process Engineer in Santa Clara, California, to design and optimize manufacturing processes for display and semiconductor technologies. The role involves developing and qualifying advanced packaging systems, conducting hardware characterization and process experiments, analyzing data, creating technical documentation, troubleshooting engineering issues, training engineers, and collaborating with customers, vendors, suppliers, and R&D teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 7–10 years of related experience, and preferably an MS or Ph.D. in a relevant field plus knowledge of plasma physics, materials characterization, and semiconductor processing.
