Description
The Process Engineer (Jr) provides engineering support for a manufacturing program or area, ensuring products meet customer and division quality requirements while maintaining production flow. The role develops and maintains systems for product quality and reliability, investigates and implements new process technology, optimizes plant operations, supports QC and quality-control activities, and contributes to preventative maintenance, capital improvement, equipment troubleshooting, process tracking, metrics, and continuous improvement. The position requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, at least one year of engineering experience including manufacturing operations, and knowledge of statistical analysis, SAP, Excel, continuous improvement, safety, and environmental regulations.
