Description
The Process Engineer - MOCVD will work at the intersection of R&D and manufacturing to develop and optimize III-V semiconductor laser structures. Responsibilities include planning epitaxial growth of GaAs- and InP-based laser diode structures, coordinating material characterization, improving yield and product quality, qualifying new equipment and manufacturing solutions, troubleshooting processes, and providing on-call support. The role requires a master's degree or PhD in a relevant technical field and hands-on MOCVD experience; semiconductor laser, laser physics, vacuum technology, characterization, programming, and German-English communication are preferred.
