Description
The Process Engineer designs and develops extrusion tooling and custom manufacturing processes for mono- and co-extruded plastic profiles, tubes, and secondary fabrication. The role leads tooling development, coordinates with production, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams, oversees machine-shop tool making, troubleshoots process issues, supports continuous improvement, and maintains engineering documentation. It requires a BS in Engineering, 3–5 years of plastic-manufacturing experience, knowledge of plastic resins and processing, AutoCAD and CAD/CAM proficiency, technical-drawing interpretation, and strong communication skills. The position is performed in a manufacturing environment with physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for eight or more hours per day.
