Description
Flex is hiring an SMT Process Engineer in Austin, Texas, to support manufacturing teams by improving cost, quality, and delivery. The role programs, sets up, debugs, and troubleshoots SMT equipment and processes; establishes repeatable process parameters; resolves RCCA issues; improves cycle time; implements statistical process control; and maintains process documentation. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training, at least four years of engineering experience, and familiarity with SMT equipment and yield analysis; experience with listed SMT brands, PFMEA, DOE, SPC, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Six Sigma is preferred.
