Lam Research is hiring a Process Engineer to develop, evaluate, and optimize etch processes for semiconductor capital equipment. The role includes process research, test-data analysis, customer demonstrations, tool qualification, technical leadership, and management of customer accounts. Candidates need a master’s degree in a relevant field with 12+ years of experience or a PhD with 10+ years of experience, along with etch-process expertise and familiarity with semiconductor equipment, simulation tools, and statistical methods. The position may require 40–50% travel during initial training and 10–20% travel afterward, with hybrid On-site Flex or Virtual Flex work models available.
