Description
The Process Engineer will apply engineering, food science, and regulatory knowledge to design, commission, optimize, and maintain food processing systems and products. Responsibilities include improving process efficiency, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, supporting equipment and production operations, maintaining quality and food safety controls, ensuring FDA and USDA compliance, documenting processes, and collaborating with R&D, Quality Assurance, Production, and customer teams. The role requires travel to regional or affiliated manufacturing locations, on-call support, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and varying shifts. A bachelor’s degree in science or engineering and at least five years of food manufacturing systems experience are preferred, with prior management experience also preferred.
