Description
The Process Engineer will develop, configure, optimize, and certify industrial processes from inception through start-up; assess and interpret process data; design, test, and upgrade systems; improve production rates and quality; perform simulations and risk assessments; document processes; and optimize weld-department line layouts, material flow, and lean manufacturing. The role requires a BS degree in Engineering, process-engineering experience, process-simulation and software knowledge, CAD or AutoCAD skills, familiarity with health and safety regulations, and strong analytical and interpersonal abilities. The position involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, sharp objects, and constant loud noise, along with extended standing, climbing, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
