Description
CRA is hiring a Process Design Engineer to own process design across energy and defence product lines, including flares, thermal oxidisers, H2S scrubbers, biogas treatment, and gas compression systems. The role covers design origination, heat and mass balances, PFDs and P&IDs, equipment sizing, combustion and thermal calculations, control philosophies, HAZOP and design reviews, FAT and commissioning support, and on-site troubleshooting. Candidates need a Chemical Engineering degree, at least 10 years of process design experience, relevant equipment-design experience, HAZOP experience as design owner, and strong hand calculations; HYSYS or similar simulation is advantageous.
