Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is hiring a Process Modeling and Optimization Engineer for the Quellaveco copper mining operation in southern Peru. The role integrates geology, block models, reserves, geotechnics, geometallurgy, mine planning, and plant performance to develop geometallurgical and metallurgical models, evaluate risks and constraints, optimize processing circuits, and support technical audits and operational diagnostics. The position is based at the site on a 5x2 roster, is permanent, and requires a relevant engineering degree, a valid A1 driver's license, postgraduate studies in geometallurgy, mineral processing, or data analysis, and more than five years of relevant mining experience.
