Description
Green Plains Inc. is hiring an Ethanol Plant Operator to learn and operate the ethanol fermentation and distillation process, including cook, distillation, evaporation, dryers, thermo oxidizers, centrifuges, grain systems, and water treatment. The role operates the DCS, follows start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and batching procedures, monitors production parameters, collects and tests samples, maintains logs and facility cleanliness, communicates with maintenance and laboratory teams, and supports other production areas. A high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, utility-vehicle operation ability, and willingness to work in a physically demanding plant environment are required; prior industrial production experience is helpful but not necessary.
