Thermo Fisher Scientific is hiring a Manufacturing Technician for its Biomanufacturing Unit at the Penrose facility in Auckland. The role processes animal blood-derived material into sterile liquid and freeze-dried products, with a focus on operating and troubleshooting UV systems and sterile filtration processes. Responsibilities include completing production activities, batch records, sampling, equipment and filtration operations, inventory management, documentation, and continuous improvement. The position is full-time and rotates between afternoon and night shifts, with on-the-job training provided and a science-related qualification preferred but not required.
