Description
The Mill Operations Supervisor assists the Mill Manager in overseeing daily paper mill operations, coordinating production priorities and shifts, monitoring and troubleshooting paper machines, supporting grade development and process optimization, coordinating workforce scheduling and training, and maintaining safety, quality, environmental, and compliance standards. The role also supports capital projects, reliability initiatives, production reporting, and operational communication. It requires a bachelor’s degree in paper science, engineering, chemistry, or a related field, one year of paper manufacturing or industrial process operations experience, and familiarity with papermaking chemistry, machine operations, process controls, and production data systems.
