ProVest LLC is hiring a Process Server as a 1099 independent contractor to provide civil process service in Allegany, Maryland, and surrounding areas. The role involves making up to three service attempts, activating cases within 24 hours, notarizing affidavits within 48 hours, documenting service attempts through mobile applications, and maintaining reliable transportation, a driver’s license, auto insurance, and a smartphone. Candidates should have experience with legal document delivery, signed court appointments, and preferably experience as process servers, licensed private investigators, law enforcement professionals, or paralegals. The position offers flexible day or evening shifts and weekly compensation of $50 to $500.
