ProVest LLC is hiring an independent-contractor Private Process Server for civil process service in Allegany/Garrett County, Maryland. The role involves making diligent service attempts on collection and non-collection files, activating cases within 24 hours, electronically signing affidavits, documenting service through mobile applications, and traveling approximately 75% of the time. Applicants must reside within a 45-mile radius of the service area, have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a smartphone; civil process-service experience is preferred. The contract offers flexible scheduling and weekly compensation of $50–$500 based on job volume.
