Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Process Support Engineer in Malta, New York, to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment from initial concept through qualification. The role provides on-site installation, system diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, repair, customer support, process optimization, root-cause analysis, and data analysis across technologies such as chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, plasma reactive ion etch, physical vapor deposition, anneal, and implant. Candidates need at least one to two years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry, knowledge of three or more processes across one or more technologies, and a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
