Applied Materials is hiring a full-time Process Support Engineer in Austin, Texas, to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment from initial concept through qualification. The role provides on-site installation, system diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, repair, customer support, process optimization, root-cause analysis, and data analysis across technologies such as chemical vapor deposition, atomic layer deposition, plasma reactive ion etch, physical vapor deposition, anneal, and implant. Candidates need at least five years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment or a similar high-tech industry, preferably three or more years in applications or process engineering, and a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
