The role involves setting up, operating, monitoring, and adjusting production machinery; performing changeovers and process adjustments; troubleshooting equipment and production issues; conducting quality checks; documenting production information; assisting with minor repairs and preventive maintenance; maintaining material flow and work areas; and communicating concerns to supervisors and maintenance personnel. The position requires mechanical aptitude, basic troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, dependable attendance, and the ability to work the required second shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
