Description
This position supports daily activities in the Set-up Process department and leads technicians at the Penn Yan facility. Responsibilities include enforcing safety and quality policies, supporting stretch blow processing, communicating with technicians, assisting process engineers with plastic processing knowledge, understanding product drawings, providing design recommendations, troubleshooting stretch blow molding equipment, performing preventative maintenance, operating forklifts and production equipment, assisting with machine changeovers, developing new processes, determining optimal processes, working with color suppliers and customers, and some heavy lifting.
