Description
The Process Technician sets up, troubleshoots, and optimizes injection-molding processes in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include starting machines and molds, establishing and validating process parameters, improving cycle times, diagnosing defects, performing root-cause analysis, restoring production after downtime, monitoring process control, assisting with mold changes, documenting changes, and collaborating with maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least three years of injection-molding processing experience, knowledge of molding principles and materials, familiarity with automation and auxiliary equipment, strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Physical work involves prolonged standing and frequent lifting of equipment heavier than 40 pounds.
