Description
The Injection Molding Setup Technician performs injection molding production support under direct supervision, including mold setup, first-article inspections, process monitoring, documentation, minor machine maintenance, material handling, and troubleshooting. The role also supports lean and continuous-improvement initiatives, mentors setup and process technicians, and requires knowledge of plastic processing, molding defects, robotics, hot-runner controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical or mold drawings. A high school diploma and at least 18 years of age are required, while one year of injection molding setup or manufacturing experience is preferred.
