Description
Schaefer Plastics is hiring a Process Technician I to support the safe and efficient operation of injection molding equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. The developmental-level role performs mold and job changes, machine startups, basic process adjustments, robot-program setpoint changes, first-piece verification, quality inspections, documentation, and assistance with machine troubleshooting. Candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude, hand-tool and measuring-device skills, computer skills, and willingness to complete company training; plastics or process training is preferred. The position may require rotating day or night shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime, with an anticipated base pay of $24.00–$29.00 per hour.
