Description
The Molding Technician performs equipment and process setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds for injection molding machines and ancillary equipment. The role includes correcting servo errors, calibrating load cells, repairing hydraulic and electrical systems, troubleshooting parts pickers and hot runner systems, training Level I technicians, supporting engineering trials, initiating corrective actions, entering work orders, following 5S and environmental, health, and safety standards, and participating in continuous improvement. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience, or a technical certificate with up to 3 years of experience.
