LAYERTEC GmbH is hiring a full-time Process Technologist for Large Optics to develop, optimize, and support computer-controlled polishing processes for precision optics. The role covers CNC, MRF, and IBF processes; interferometry and other measurement-data analysis; sub-nanometer surface-quality and form-accuracy control; process monitoring and continuous improvement; workflow documentation; and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates need a relevant degree, CNC and precision-optics processing experience, optical measurement and CAD skills, and analytical data-analysis abilities. The position is based in Mellingen, Germany, with a 38-hour workweek and flexible working models.
