The New York Botanical Garden is hiring a Processing Archivist for a two-year temporary full-time, grant-funded position in the Bronx. Reporting to the Curator of Special Collections, Research and Archives, the role arranges, describes, weeds, rehouses, and labels archival collections; creates finding aids in ArchivesSpace; coordinates digitization and cataloging; and collaborates with conservators. The position requires a master’s degree in library science, archival certification or equivalent experience, at least one year of archival repository experience, and knowledge of archival standards and ArchivesSpace.
