Description
The Surface Finishing Lead oversees daily operations in an aerospace metal-fitting finishing department, including wet processing, painting, masking/unmasking, and part marking. The role coordinates workflows, performs in-process inspections, supports production, trains personnel, maintains safety and quality standards, schedules work, monitors supplies, documents shop-floor data, and supports continuous improvement. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of aerospace metal-finishing experience, knowledge of aerospace standards and safety procedures, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is a 2nd-shift role paying $29.00–$31.00 per hour plus shift differential and eligibility for annual incentive bonuses, with no visa sponsorship.
