Amazon is hiring a Processing Lead Technician to lead a team of technicians and oversee the integration, testing, and processing of LEO satellite flight hardware in a cleanroom and ESD-controlled environment. The role includes mechanical assembly, propellant loading, rigging, heavy-machinery operation, functional testing, troubleshooting, quality and safety oversight, and collaboration with engineering and operations teams. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of experience in mechanical hardware assembly, test, or installation, US passport and customs-entry eligibility, and the ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks. The position is based in Merritt Island, Florida, with a nominal first-shift schedule, up to 25% annual travel, and a base pay of 45.19–58.75 USD per hour.
